(In the context of history)
Written by Faiz Baloch
About 300 years after the advent of Islam, a series of Sufis began to arrive in the Indian subcontinent who preferred humanity to religion, taught equality to the people and interpreted religion as human good. He taught brotherhood and love to the people by keeping religious hatred and prejudice aside. Among these eminent personalities were Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh, Bahauddin Zakaria, Baba Masood Ganj Shukr, Khawaja Moinuddin Ajmeri and Lal Shahbaz Qalandar. The names are worth mentioning. In addition, many saints have lit the lamps for the propagation of Islam in the subcontinent. And with his philanthropy, attitude and character, he won the hearts of the people, which led to the Islamic Revolution in India. Entered the realm of Islam. It is a great surprise that these Sufis planted the flags of victory in the hearts of non-Muslims without swords and arrows. And brought the lost humanity on the right path and the true Islam Enlightened by the teachings.
He is neither in the throne nor in the army
What is in the court of the man of Qalandar
Hazrat Noor Shah Qalandar is one of the prominent saints who dedicated their lives for the welfare and guidance of mankind in the Indus Valley (now Seraiki region). Tilai Noor Shah is a suburb of Kot Ado Tehsil of Uttar Pradesh. His genealogy is behind the scenes. Due to which no historian or researcher could pay attention to this Qalandar man. In any case, your name Noor Shah Faqir is mentioned in the records of the first land allotment of the Finance Department and it is further written with reference to you that here (now Basti Talai Noor Shah) Hazrat Noor Shah Faqir was the first to water the people of God. A well was dug to meet the demand and he himself took up residence here. This well came to be known as Noor Shahwala.
"People from the surrounding area also started settling on this well.
The area is named after Talai Noor Shah
Before your arrival, this area was known as Talai Chandia. Because Chandia Baloch people lived here in large numbers. But after your arrival, the name of this area became famous instead of Talai Chandia, Talai Noor Shah. Then when the custom of digging wells became common, Went from. But there were some people of Samra tribe who did not change their place except Chah Noor Shah Wala. They do not say that "Necessity is the mother of invention". These people were the devotees and servants of Baba Noor Shah Qalandar who did not leave any stone unturned in your service till the end. Makhdoom Fida Hussain is the current incumbent of the party.
Genealogy of Hazrat Noor Shah:
Hazrat Noor Shah Qalandar Bukhari was Syed. His ancestors came from Bukhara (Afghanistan) to preach Islam. His real name was Syed Noor Mohammad Shah Bukhari. He had complete access to memorization of Qur'an and religious knowledge The time is determined about 300 years before today. In other words, he was an elder before Hafiz Jamalullah Multani. What has such a pious dervishes got to do with Tahlul ie marriage? Many times marriage was offered by the devotees but you did not accept it. I was busy.
The above narration regarding Baba Noor Shah Qalandar:
It is mentioned with reference to Baba Noor Shah Qalandar that to the east of where his Darbar Sharif now stands, there was an umbrella-like (net) tree. The weather was cold or hot, rainy or hot, but you did not change your bed from there and spent your whole life under the same umbrella-like tree.
"Dervish, where is the night coming?"
Your hut was not an ordinary hut but it was an inn for the seekers of the path of truth. Passengers who came and went drank water cheaply and acknowledged your goodwill and piety. Everyone who came to Qalandar's hut felt at ease as if the rumors of your poverty began to spread. The series continued to grow day by day. Hearing of your wisdom and scholarly fame, great scholars used to come to you and read literature.
Your intentional intellectual was also a Hindu:
Among his intentions were the learned Hindus. The narrations that are circulating about Baba Noor Shah Qalandar show that he was a preacher of Sufism. For example, a narration that I heard from my elders. Once a Hindu scholar came to you and discussed religious issues for a long time. When he returned, a devotee sitting nearby asked him, "Hazrat, why are you so interested in Hinduism?" He said, "I seek the spirit of humanity in Hinduism which I do not see anywhere." But I see how cruel an innocent Hindu is sacrificed to the ritual "Sati". I hate this inhuman behavior. I am very sympathetic to Sati Bachari. Hazrat Ali Hajwary It is said that Arif is also a scholar but it is not necessary that the scholar should also be Arif.
Court of Hazrat Noor Shah Qalandar:
According to a common tradition, the court of Hazrat Noor Shah Qalandar was built by a Mughal emperor two and a half hundred years ago today. Then in 1978, the Samra community, especially Haji Ghulam Muhammad (the late), rebuilt the Darbar Noor Shah Qalandar with a beautiful dome in accordance with Islamic architecture, which gives a spiritual freshness to the surroundings. The court has been in the custody of the Endowment Department since 1982.
What is the word "talai":
Most people keep asking about the word "talai" because they think that the spelling of this word should be written with "talai" meaning "I" but let me explain that the word "talai" is a diminutive of talab which Means "small pond" because in ancient times there were two large rainwater ponds, which are called "Tobha" in Seraiki. It was half a kilometer to the east, where rainwater was collected during the rainy season. And people used to come here with their livestock and take temporary shelter. The name of the southern pond was Talai Chandra and the name of the northern pond was Talai Chandia. And the name of Mouza is also Talai Noor Shah. While South Tobha is still called by the same old name "Talai Chandra" and Mouza is also known as Talai Chandra. Remember that these ponds are no longer visible but His name is still associated with the names of two different positions.
(1) Mouza Talai Noor Shah:
Its large population is called Basti Noor Shah.
(2) Mouza Talai Chandrar:
Its main population is called Basti Talai.
Mela Noor Shah:
As far as the festival of Hazrat Noor Shah Qalandar is concerned, in the old days, in the beginning, there used to be a camel market here every year, which gradually took the form of a growing festival. It starts and continues till the end of the third week. On the 15th and 16th of the lunar month, the spring of this festival is at its peak. There are traditional sports like kabaddi and wrestling. But camel boats and wrestling arenas are the favorite and interesting hobbies of the people. On the 16th of Chand, the Deputy Commissioner of Muzaffargarh District visits the fair and distributes prizes among the winning camel wrestlers and athletes. In the cultural games, Lucky Iranian Circus always comes here and shows its tricks. He used to come here with his theater companies and evoke the magic of his charming voice. And Seraiki offers the people of Wasib the best opportunity for entertainment.
People from all over the country come to see and earn money from the fair and long and wide bazaars are decorated around Khanqah-e-Sharif. There is a lot of buying and selling, and there is a big market for buying and selling camels, where camels from all over are sold. Before wrestling on the occasion of the festival, the owners would bring their camels to the door of the court and distribute sweets and ask for prayers for their own success. Forgetfulness continues. People visit the court with great devotion and raise their hands in prayer and ask for intentions.
A series of mantras at the court:
When their intentions were fulfilled by Allah Almighty, the devotees would come to your court in the form of caravans and perform the ritual of giving their vows.
